OUR FOCUS: CONSERVATION

WILD FOCUS EXPEDITIONS IS WHOLLY OWNED BY FULL-TIME PROFESSIONAL CONSERVATION PHOTOGRAPHERS WHOSE FOCUS IS ON ENDANGERED ANIMALS AND FRAGILE HABITATS

We are committed to preserving our planet’s natural habitat and its species. We hope to contribute to this preservation by raising awareness about the future of our wildlife and the challenges imposed upon so many endangered animals. We feel that it is imperative to partner with reliable global organizations whose mission is to protect and preserve our habitats.

Wild Focus Expeditions believe that we have a moral obligation to leave MORE than just footprints. We strongly hope that our travelers seek out ways to in fact do this as well. As a company, we have begun to donate to the organizations listed on our website and we ask you to do the same. We have spent time with the scientists, researchers and directors of these organizations and are able to see where the money is needed and where it is being spent. Our National Parks, Reserves and wilderness areas give so much to us. We believe that we need to give back as well.

This is our FOCUS.

On behalf of the creatures in whose lives you have made a difference, we, at Wild Focus, thank you so much. And thanks for having a desire to ‘Travel Different’!

Community Wildlife Fund (Kenya)

Covid-19 has brought a new reality to Kenya that could cost thousands of lives. Without tourism, Kenya’s game reserves such as the Maasai Mara, and Amboseli have an open door to professional elephant and rhino poaching rings. Covid-19 starved villagers who are typically employed in the parks have no other option but to kill wild animals for food (e.g.plains game). Both can now enter the parks undetected to hunt for ivory, rhino horn and bushmeat. Community Wildlife Fund has launched a successful project that is protecting these animals.

Join Wild Focus’ owner Jami Tarris, CWF’s campaign fundraising manager, in a project that enables you to leave MORE than just footprints in Kenya. Make a difference.

Covid-19’s Wild Effects

We are all drawn to nature photography for our very own personal reasons. Some are drawn for commercial reasons – to make money, others because they enjoy sitting in the peace and quiet of nature waiting for beautiful light, and others who…
